When it comes to photo-retouching in the fashion industry, there’s a fine line between “bad” and “good” garment wrinkles. The key is determining whether the imperfections serve a purpose (e.g.: to show a movement and therefore make the photo look more dynamic) or if they can be erased or minimized whilst still looking natural.
As the head of creative for Mono B Clothing, I own full control of the way the garment is retouched and leaving the body and skin manipulated in the least destructive way possible. This stems from the Mono B philosophy that activewear is for all, and all body shapes should be celebrated.
Below are just some of the samples of photo retouching for Mono B Clothing I’ve done over the years, with a range of work that includes de-wrinkling garments, overlaying photos, and changing colors.
